Beauty Retouching Services
My early background was very much focused on fashion and beauty retouching, as I worked in a studio largely shooting fashion. Because of that, I have worked on a couple of longer term commercial campaigns since becoming freelance.
A typical job would combine both technical and creative skills to:
- smooth and re-texture the skin surface using techniques like frequency seperation.
- clean up hairlines and redraw hair where required.
- add dodge and burn layers to locally accentuate shadows and highlights to create a more flattering lighting shape.
- accentuate details like lips and eyes.
I use a fully calibrated Macintosh system using Adobe Creative Cloud apps like Photoshop to create precision retouching work. In the past, my beauty and fashion retouching work has been used for clients like: Sleek Makeup, Molton Brown, and several publications as well as photographer’s private work.
